My Story
I began making things from a young age with my parents. Our early years after migrating to Australia left us doing everything we could ourselves and has led to great knowledge of working with my hands.
Forte as photographed by Rod Hoare, a truly monumental piece in my making.
Following years of house renovations, a great enjoyment in woodworking and countless hours spent working. I managed to find the ability utilising my skills and leftover materials from our renovations to quell my fascination with knifemaking. This first “knife” turned a fascination into a hobby that only kept progressing onwards as time went on. I begun only making bushcraft and hunting knives as that is where my interests began.
Eventually I was drawn to the fine details and importance of geometry and craftsmanship that kitchen knives have. As well as the fact that many people will often use these kinds of knives regardless of how exquisite the materials that are used are.
